Symptom

You open webmail., but the browser does not show the login page, but an SSL security warning.

Cause

Either you open webmail on a secure (https: //) connection, but you have not installed an SSL certificate for the domain, or you did not check the "Secure webmail on this domain " checkbox when you had created the Let's Encrypt SSL certificate for your domain. Therefore, the SSL certificate includes only your main domain, but not your webmail subdomain.

Solution

1. Log in to the webspace control panel.

2. Click the "Websites & Domains" tab.

3. In the domain for which you want to configure the webmail subdomain, click on the "SSL" icon.

4. Check the box "Secure webmail on this domain" and click "Renew". (If you have not set up an SSL certificate yet, tick both boxes that you see and click “Install”.)
